Joy D. (Sylvia) Mlyniec

MLYNIEC, Joy D., (Sylvia), 83, of Ray Street, Coventry, passed away Wednesday morning, May 11, 2016 at Riverview Healthcare Community.   

She was the beloved wife of Frank J. Mlyniec, Jr., they had been married for 63 years.  Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Doris (Howarth) Sylvia.

Mrs. Mlyniec was the office manager at Lamb Motors for ten years before retiring in 1995.  She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church Choir for over 60 years and enjoyed cooking, gardening and square dancing.

Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Cynthia A. Mauch and her husband Dana of Cumberland; a son, Pastor Keith M. Mlyniec of The Harbor Church and his wife Ruth of West Kingston; three grandchildren, Stanley Mlyniec and his wife Karissa, Natalie Linden and her husband Tim and John-Henry Mlyniec and seven great grandchildren, Vanessa, Ashley, April, Zigmund, Zachary, Zekiah and Anias.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 8:30 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry.  Interment will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery.  Visiting hours Friday 4-7 pm in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick.   In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St., Ste. 306, Providence, RI 02906 in her memory would be appreciated.   Information and condolences please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
