Dear Uncle Tommy,
I am having a difficult time trying to compose how much you are truly going to be missed. The past few days have been filled with emotions of laughter reminiscing of stories of the past and sorrow when reality sets in that you will no longer be with us. It has been difficult to rationalize why you were chosen to be taken from us so soon. As I have let you know you are and always will be a key figure in our lives.
What I didn’t get a chance to tell you before you left was how much I am genuinely going to miss your hugs. I wanted you to know that I did notice how your embrace lasted a little longer and squeezes a little tighter letting me know you truly cared. So as I look for a positive in this moment I will take away the lesson of the power of a hug giving them as you would.
I will forever love you,
Renee

My deepest sympathies to Tommy's family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful, kind, and helpful man! He always talked to me when I went to visit my daughter Jess, whom he welcomed to the neighborhood with open arms. He would go out of his way to walk to the end of his driveway so we could talk. Our conversations were always enlightening and, of course, there had to be some humor in them too, as Tommy was a very humorous man. It's hard to look at his home now. The special touches that made it Tommy are already gone. He took that with him. But, I certainly will never forget our talks, our laughter. His little nuances, the sound of his laughter, and his smile will remain with me and comfort me until we see each other again. He will be so dearly missed. May the memories you all shared with him also bring you comfort now and always.

Tommy I will miss you, my friend. I know you will continue to keep an eye on Jess, only it will be from afar. Until we meet again, Rest in Peace.

My sincere condolences, Carol Manish Mayernick

Dear Tommy,
I just got the news about your passing. I just want you to know how much I'm going to miss you. How I'd love to have one of our daily conversations again. Such a great man and a beautiful soul. I will always carry your contagious laughter and smile within my heart no matter where I go. I cannot believe this happened so quickly, but am glad you are without pain now. Like we ended our last conversation "talk to you soon". I'll never say goodbye, just see you soon.

To Tommy's family, I had the pleasure of being his neighbor for quite a few years. We had daily conversations, sometimes talking for hours until the mosquitos bit us up :). I will forever love and miss this wonderful man. I feel so empty.

God speed Tommy! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

With all my love,
Jessica
