Sister Josepha was a fabulous teacher at Salve Regina University. I was blessed to be one of her students in 1976. Just looked her up reminiscing. May her soul rest in peace.

Such a loving caring person. Got to know her as she work with the Free Health Clinic in Richlands, VA. Such a wonderful service she helped start for the area. She was a joy to be around and I know she will be missed. She was such a blessing to many!

My heart goes out to all of the individuals who had the opportunity to have had this "Hero" cross their path. I first met Jo at the Tri-County Free Health Clinic, where I volunteered some of my time. Later, our friendship grew when I purchased a house and became a neighbor of Sister's Jo and Martha. I was new In my marriage and I had just had my son, Craegen, who thought Jo and Martha could walk on water. I can remember spending one Fall Saturday raking all of the leaves in my front yard into this huge pile. That afternoon I went into the house to get cleaned up and after doing so, I heard all of this laughter. I went to the window and looked out. There I saw that Jo and Martha had returned from working the farm. I also, saw Craegen, Martha and Jo in the middle of what used to be that big pile of leaves, but the pile was missing. I opened the door and Jo said "they are only leaves dad". That statement: "they are only leaves dad" I have used so many times in my life with the hurdles I have faced. We will miss your out of the blue visits. I am grateful that you crossed my path. Praying for your family and friends, Chad, Channie & Craegen

Sister Josepha was a truly magnificent person - such a witness for Christianity. Those of us from Richlands remember her fondly. Always joyful - hard working - conscientious. It is sorrowful to lose her. However, I am sure that she is dancing about in Heaven and spreading her charisma everywhere -

Sister Josepha's energy was beautiful and contagious. Her smile could easily warm up an entire room. She was a champion for everyone and a lover of life and I was privileged to have known her while she lived in Southwest Virginia.

Sister Josepha is one of my favorite people and certainly had a positive impact on my life and my faith. She was warm, caring and had a wonderful sense of humor. I always enjoyed talking with her. I certainly missed her when she left St. Mary's and the Richlands VA area to return to Rhode Island, However, it was always a joy to see her when she and Sisters Caroline & Martha would return to the area for summer visits.
