So many memories of you, Roland, and the love, compassion, and giving spirit that embodied you. My memory is filled with all the wonderful fun things you did with us when we lived in Rhode Island and when you and Loretta visited us every summer in California. I will miss our long chats over the phone, especially after Chet died - you helped me through my grieving process and for that I am forever grateful. I will pray for your soul to enter heaven, but I suspect the doors are already open - you were truly a man for others. Love, Jennifer

You were the best grandfather anyone could ask for, and we were so blessed to have you in our lives. So many wonderful memories to recount- visiting every summer as kids, the many road trips, Lake George & trips to the Great Escape, sitting on the front porch watching fireflies, teaching us how to bowl, trips to Arlington, Christmas' in CA, lunches at Dave's and Marchetti's, Foxwoods trips, and the list goes on. We will miss you dearly Pepere and will miss being able to talk to you regularly, but know that your memory will live on in our hearts and in the lives of those you touched.

We will miss all the things that were meaningful in our lives..... our daily chats, Sunday afternoon football games, holiday gatherings for dinner, and listening to stories about your travels. It was a privilege to have you as a cousin and good friend! Your passing will leave a huge void for our family! Love you!!!

Uncle Roland was one great guy! I already miss our weekly phone chats! He was always positive and always interested in what was going on in our lives. Dave was reminiscing about all the drives he and Dennis used to take w/Uncle Roland in their younger years. Nice memories!! His passing will leave a void in our lives..... we've all lost someone very special.
