Dear Ann:

I just now learned of George's death last month. I, and my children, will never forget his kindness and caring when my husband, Chick, died four years ago. Chick and George worked closely together at the Medical Center and I know how fond Chick was of your husband.
My family and I extend our deepest sympathy to you and yours at this sad time.

All the best,
Kay

I grew up with George in scouting and I will remember his great sense of humor and kindness to all who crossed his path. We had the pleasure of camping with George and Ann in Florida for a few years and he was well liked by all who got to know him. He will be sorely missed by many.

Ann, my thoughts and prayers go out to you. I'm so sorry to be so far away right now. George and you have been so much a part of my life and my children's life. I fondly remember Andrew and George swimming on New Years Day in Jamestown. George taking him under his wing and introducing him to the penguins. George always interested in Miss Amanda and her accomplishments. I always look forward to our Sunday breakfasts and chats. Know I am there in spirit and may you take comfort in knowing he is a peace now. He fought a great fight. Love Jackie Simas
