Blueberry Fields Forever

From playing cribbage with the kids...
To putting dumplings my dish…
For a vegan, nothing’s sweet like eating this.
On your cheek I placed a kiss.
Not goodbye. Just see you later.
My summer’s slate is just not complete without Rhode Island on my feet
I mean Irene (Mem) was the sweetest queen to ever see the scene.
In between the Tibetan Rites, I learned, we all die twice…
First our souls take a flight surpassing interstellar heights,
and the second’s when we’re mentioned for the very last night…
Yup you’re right, I think I might, just say Irene for life.
So while I sit, I’ll write this letter...
To let you know, that it’s blueberries forever.
Fields! I hope it feels like perfect weather.
So when it’s all said and done
We’ll all be together playing cards or whatever…
Comparing stars or whatever…
Our family’s tougher than tanning leather... and we know it.
Ever better because we showed it.
Now, time favors the patient
So go have a dance with Leo (Pepe) in elation
and when I look up, I’ll see both of your constellations.

Let me begin by saying that I feel certain mom has joined dad and most likely they have already organized a Saturday night card circle!!!! They were a team and I'm sure that they are happy to be reunited!!
I speak for myself and also my mom when I say a big thank you to each of you who left a loving message, I know that she loved each of you in special ways. Mom will always live in our hearts...
As for me?... My heart broke when I left mom two weeks before she passed. She gave me a special gift the Friday before when she perked up and we were able to talk like old times...I thank God every day for that small miracle. My heart is slowly processing the loss of my sweet loving "mum"... Although I lived far from her, we were always connected and when I visited it was as though no time had passed. My fondest memory ( which I will carry with me forever) is the day she introduced saying... "This is Jeanne, my second daughter. She is a love maker"! Mom knew that indeed that is what I have dedicated my life to become.

Charlene, Jeanne, Roberta and Paul,
Sue and I want to extend our sympathies to all of you. Your Mom was always a very special person. She was the only one in Bob's life that could call him "Bobby Alan" and have it mean so much to him to hear call him that name. During this sad time, make sure you focus on the many fun and loving memories you have of your Mom.

Sincerely,
Bob & Sue

Aunt Rene was one of the kindest and most forgiving persons I have ever known. She never failed to see the spark of hope in anyone, no matter their past. I am so grateful that she and Leo agreed to be my godparents. They were the best. I cherish the moments with them and I will always appreciate the kindness they both showed to me and my family.

Tender memories of you puttering in the garden, your wonderful cookies, and the kindest, most understanding, and generous Aunt I could ever hope for in this life. You live on in our inward eye of recollection forever.
