E. Glenn Briggs

BRIGGS, E. Glenn, 75, formerly of Fountain Street, West Warwick, passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2015 at Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry.

Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Elbridge C. and Eugenia (Spencer) Briggs.  He resided in West Warwick for most of his life.

Mr. Briggs was an accountant with the former DeBlois Oil Company for 25 years before retiring.  He enjoyed stamp collecting and traveling to Florida and Maine.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy M. Briggs of West Warwick.  He was the brother of the late George F. Briggs.  The family would like to extend to the Riverview Healthcare Community Staff their appreciation for the wonderful care and attention Glenn received while in their care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 from 5:00-6:00 pm in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick followed by a service at 6:00 pm    Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Riverview Healthcare Community Activity Fund, 546 Main Street, Coventry, RI 02864 in his memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
