Charlene & Norman - Please keep photos of "mom" in your home so others can remember her too. She'll always be in your heart and will hear you when you talk to her. She's probably looking down and smilling upon you.

Dearest Charlene, Norman, Karen & John....and all the children..
Your Mom was such a special lady in so many ways. She was my encourager, along with your dad, so many times through the years, and I am forever grateful for both of them. They were a protective shelter for me many times. She was always kind, thoughtful and loving and I will carry her memory forever. I don't know if you knew that your mom and mine were friends over the years and even though they didn't see each other very much they had a special sister-friend relationship. Interestingly enough they passed into God's arms on the very same day...different years.....my mom in 2004. I really believe that my mom was waiting there for her. Terry remembers your folks kind acceptance to this day also. Terry and your dad had fun together and laughed so hard that night. I was just remembering a yummy July, 1979 Shrimp dip that your mom made when we visited one evening. I'm sure you have it....but just in case not...here it is.
1 can cream of shrimp soup
1 large package of cream cheese
3/4 tsp. horse radish
1 can minced chopped shrimp
Hold onto the precious memories and delight in your folks.....
