Zachary P. Parenty

PARENTY, Zachary P., 23, of Coventry, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Born in Warwick, he was the beloved son of Christine A. (Mahoney) Parenty of Coventry and the late Michael G. Parenty, Sr.

Zachary was formally employed as a Dietary Aide at Kingston Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing.  He was a 2019 graduate of Coventry High School, receiving the Ernest D. DiMicco “Oaker” Award, a Certificate of Achievement from New England Tech for Welding.  Zach loved riding dirt bikes, being health conscious, and working out.  He enjoyed watching football with his father, camping with family and friends and taking road trips.

Besides his mother, he is survived by two siblings; Michael G. Parenty, Jr. and Colleen A. Fontaine; his maternal grandmother, Carole A. (Lavallee) Mahoney; his paternal grandmother, Laurianne H. (Beaudreau) Parenty; two nephews, Jordan J. Smith and Mason J. Parenty and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Joseph T. Mahoney and his paternal grandfather, George H. Parenty.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Brain Injury Association of RI, 1017 Waterman Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914 in his memory would be appreciated.
