Yvonne (Lamoureux) Caliri

CALIRI, Yvonne (Lamoureux), 90, of Sterling, Connecticut, formerly of West Warwick, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at home.

She was the wife of the late Frank J. Caliri.  Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William and Albina (Cardin) Lamoureux.  She was raised in West Warwick and lived in Groton, Connecticut.

Mrs. Caliri was employed as a case-aide with the State of Rhode Island for twenty years until retiring in 1990.   She was a Korean War Marine Corps Veteran.

She is survived by three sons, Steven R. Valliere, Russell T. Valliere and Thomas R. Valliere; two daughters, Gail P. R. Picard and Jane L. Valliere and fourteen grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Eva J. Carroll, Normand J. Lamoureux, Maurice Lamoureux and Roseanne Huling.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a committal service on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  Guests can gather at 11:45 a.m. in the cemetery parking lot on the right as you enter the cemetery and we will be escorted to the chapel for noontime.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
