Yvette R. (Lizotte) Furtado

FURTADO, Yvette R., (Lizotte), 84, a resident of West Warwick, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Furtado.  A lifelong resident of West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Marie R. Lizotte.

Mrs. Furtado was employed as a waitress at various establishments in the Pawtuxet Valley area for many years before retiring.  She was a communicant of Christ the King Church and  a devoted caregiver to her grandchildren and family.  She loved a Boston Cream doughnut from Dunkin and was an avid New England Patriots fan.

She is survived by her children, Olivia Turner and her husband Martin in Missouri, Michael A. Furtado of West Warwick, David M. Furtado of Coventry, AJ Furtado of West Warwick and Donna M. Furtado of Coventry, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 10:00 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick.  Interment will be private.  Visiting hours Sunday 2:00-4:00 pm in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick, (RI COVID Guidelines will be observed).  In lieu of flowers contributions to Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick, RI 02893 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
