William Lauzon Obituary

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of William "Bill" Lauzon, age 97, who passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025.

Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Gabriel and Ann (Bordwell) Lauzon. Bill lived most of his life in Central Falls, Rhode Island, later moving to Pawtucket, where he spent his later years. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Coast Guard, a role he carried with honor throughout his life. After serving his country, Bill spent his days as a well-respected plant manager at Narragansett Paper in Lincoln and was known for his strong leadership and dedication to quality.

Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, May (Wroe) Lauzon, with whom he shared many joyful years. Together, they cherished family, friends, and their annual trips to Cape Cod. Bill had a passion for round dancing, where he found joy as a caller, bringing people together through music and movement.

He is survived by his brother, John Lauzon, and his wife Linda, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends who were like family.  All who knew Bill, will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and sense of humor. He was predeceased by his sister, Roberta (Lauzon) LaChance, his brother-in-law, Gerry LaChance, and his beloved niece, Lori-Ann Hart.

Bill will be fondly remembered for his kind heart, his compassion, and his unwavering dedication to those he loved. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
