BROUILLARD, Ulysses J. “Jerry”, 94, formerly of Central St., West Warwick, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, February 24, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at the home of his daughter.
He was the beloved husband of the late Agnes (Silva) Brouillard, they had been married for 75 years when she passed away last October. Born in West Warwick, a son of the late Eli and Virginia (Lecuivre) Brouillard, he was a resident of West Warwick for most of his life.
Mr. Brouillard worked in the textile industry for many years. He retired in 1989 as the head of maintenance for Soluol Chemical where he was employed for over 25 years. He served in the Army during World War II and was a communicant of St. Anthony Church in West Warwick.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda M. Richard and her husband Roger of Coventry; a son, Gerald J. Brouillard and his wife Lucille of Warwick; four grandchildren, David Brouillard (Cranston FD), Stephen Brouillard Esq., Derek Richard (Warwick FD) and Kerri Rossi, RN; nine great grandchildren, Samantha and Alyssa Brouillard, Damon and Keira Brouillard, Adam, Jake and Brooklyn Richard, and Haydn and Aaron Rossi. He was brother of the late Mary St. Onge and Edith Johnson.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 from 9:00-10:30 am in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick. Interment with military honors will be in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions to VNA Care N.E.
