Thomas J. Alarie

ALARIE, Thomas J., 61, of Coventry, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 10, 2023 at home.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Raymond E. and Lois T. (Day) Alarie.  He was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area.

Tom was employed with Verizon for many years until retiring in 2021.  He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW Local 2323), an avid New England Sports fan and his other enjoyments included golf, softball, travel, photography and playing music.

He is survived by two brothers, Raymond E. Alarie and Mark R. Alarie and his wife Susan and a nephew, Colin Alarie.  He was the brother of the late James E. Alarie.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 pm in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Diabetes Association, New England Chapter, P.O.
