Theresa L. (Leo) Sisto

Theresa Madeline (Leo) Sisto died on October 7, 2024 in her home on Block Island, R.I. Theresa was born on August 6, 1933 in Phoenixville, PA to Edward H.J. Leo and Mary (Delaquilla) Reis.

"Nonna" was still cooking, entertaining and telling family stories. Theresa loved, and was loved by, all she knew. There were no strangers in her home.

Theresa and her husband John A.K. Jack Sisto (Block Island, R.I.) raised their family in South Orange, New Jersey. Theresa was predeceased by Jack after 56 of marriage and by her brother John Leo (Phoenixville, Pa). Theresa is survived by her four children - Antonia Klohr (James) (Colo.), Joseph (R.I.), James (Patricia) (Ohio), and John (R.I.); five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives. Theresa was involved in many organizations and charities including serving as a Board member of The Pingry School in New Jersey, as Deacon for St. Ann's-by-the-Sea (Block Island, R.I.) and on the Bishop's Committee for the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island.

Family and friends gathered on Block Island, R.I. on October 19 to celebrate her life and legacy. Ciao Bella!
