MONTGOMERY, Susan Lee, (Bateman), 71, of Washington Street, Coventry, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Kent Hospital, Warwick.

She was the wife of the late Thomas Montgomery. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Richard Bateman Jr. and Berthena (Irvin) Bateman.

Susan was employed as a receptionist at AT&T for many years before retiring. The most important thing to her was spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters, Jennifer L. Montgomery, Victoria Lillie, and Angela Lillie; two sons, Michael Lillie, and Daniel Lillie; a son-in-law, John Berard; six grandchildren, Mathiew T. Montgomery, Rosa Lillie, Santos Lillie, Lexi Lillie, Isiah McKay and Aamir Thibault; a brother, Richard Bateman; a nephew, Zachary Chandler and a niece, Tracy Bateman. She was a sister the late Joanne Gosselin.
