Stephen J. Henault, 75, of West Warwick, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.
Born in Providence, a son of the late George J. and Doris M. (Bernard) Henault. He was a lifelong resident of West Warwick.
He is survived by his siblings, Dennis Henault and his wife Diane and Jeanne Hart and her husband Robert; uncle of Andrew Henault and his wife Emily, Timothy Henault and his wife Laura Jean and Alison (Henault) Krzyzek and her husband Adam; five great nieces and three great nephews.
Steve worked with his brother in the construction business for over thirty years. He was a custodian with the West Warwick School Department until he retired. Following retirement, he enjoyed doing home improvement projects, going to car shows with his VW convertible, quahogging and making cookies for his family. Most of all, Steve loved to be around people, always making them smile with a story to tell and a hearty laugh.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick followed by inurnment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick.
