BLANCO, Soledad J., (Jardines), 76, of West Warwick, passed away Thursday evening, January 28, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Jovencio D. Blanco, they had been married for 55 years. Born in Pantabangan, Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Florentino and Maria (Pacleb) Jardines.
Soledad began her career as an elementary school teacher in the Philippines. While her final employment before retiring was at Toray Plastics in North Kingston, RI. She loved spending time with her family, traveling and trips to the casinos.
Besides her husband she leaves her children, Joel Blanco and his wife Eva, Owen Blanco and Amy, Maria Blanco-Colon and her husband Luis, Joven Blanco and his wife Susan and Florand Blanco and his fiancé Kaua; two siblings, George Jardines and Manuel Jardinez and eleven “favorite” grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Florentino Jardinez, Jr., Alice Miller and Edwin Jardines.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 9:30-10:00 am in SS. John and James Church, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am (all State COVID-19 guidelines will be observed). Due to pandemic restriction’s interment will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852 in her memory would be appreciated.
