Shirley Brown Obituary

BROWN, Shirley Mae (Francis), 94, formerly of Chepachet, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pascoag.

Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Charles J. and Bertha Mae (Andrews) Francis.

Shirley was a nurse at Kent County Memorial Hospital for many years. Following retirement she became a massage therapist. She loved quilting and did several quilts with her sister, Betty. She also enjoyed going on several cruises with friends.

She is survived by four children, Linda A. Fuller of Chepachet, David Brown of Griswold, CT, Russell Brown of Westerly and Debra J. Fox of Chepachet; a brother, Paul Francis in Arizona; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Magiera, Elsie O. Jusczyk and William Francis.

Funeral services will be private.
