Shirley Ann (Giles) Austin, 84, of Ten Rod Road, Exeter, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at home.
She was the beloved wife of the late E. Bert Austin. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Richard J. "Dick" Giles and Irene (Essex) Giles. She is survived by her three children, Gail Ann LeBlanc, E. Michael Austin and Richard B. Austin; two grandsons, Bradley Aaron and Casey Bert. She also leaves behind her sister Lois E. Quinn of Coventry and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Richard, Robert and Deborah Giles.
Shirley was a bookkeeper for many years before retiring. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hope Valley, loved to travel and volunteered with numerous organizations.
Her funeral service and interment will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
