Rosemarie (Spera) Camerlin, 89, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, February 9, 2024 at Sunny View Nursing Home in Warwick.
She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard A. “Jerry” Camerlin, they had been married for sixty-seven years at the time of his passing six months ago. Born in Cranston, a daughter of the late Guiseppi and Rosa (D’Errico) Spera. She was a lifelong resident of Cranston until moving to Warwick three years ago.
Over the years Rosemarie was employed with several companies, in credit management and collections, including California Artificial Flower Co., Gorham Manufacturing, Tilden Thurber Jewelers, and Munroe Dairy before retiring. She loved knitting, reading, and most of all traveling with her husband.
She is survived by her three children, Debbie DeCesaris and her husband Ronnie of West Warwick, Linda McMillen and her husband Robert of Prospect, Tennessee and Gary Camerlin of Stillwater, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a great great grandson. She was the sister of the late Paul Spera.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a funeral home service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
