Ronald Lawrence Obituary

Ronald Edward Lawrence, 74, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Kent Hospital in Warwick.

He was the beloved husband of Helen F. (Hurst) Lawrence. Together, they shared twenty-eight years of marriage. Born in Warwick and raised in Coventry, Ronald was the devoted son of the late Edward and Doris Y. (Gauvin) Lawrence. He made West Warwick his home for many years, where he built a life marked by quiet strength, dedication, and deep love for those closest to him.

Ronald was a skilled HVAC sheet metal fabricator, working for various companies throughout his career. Known for his strong work ethic and steady hands, he took pride in his craftsmanship and retired in 2015 after decades of committed service. His work left a lasting mark, but it was his humility, kindness, and love for family that defined his legacy.

Besides his wife he leaves his son, Christopher Lawrence; two step-children, Robert Bock and Angela Rivera; three granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.

Ronald is also survived by his dear sister, Carolyn A. Jarvis, with whom he shared a lifelong bond.

He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his loyalty, and his quiet wisdom. Those who knew Ronald will forever cherish his warm smile, steady presence, and the calm reassurance he brought into their lives.

In accordance with his wishes, funeral services will be private, and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in Ronald’s memory.
