Robert J. Amaral, 66, of Archambault Avenue, West Warwick, passed away, Monday evening, October 28, 2024 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.
Born in Warwick, a son of the late Joseph and Joan L. (Carrington) Amaral. He was raised by his beloved and cherished grandmother, Maria Estrella Amaral. He resided in West Greenwich and West Warwick for most of his life.
Robert was employed as a fork lift operator at Bradford Soapworks in West Warwick for over thirty years before retiring. He served with the United States Army, was an avid hunter and a member of the Little Rhody Beagle Club.
He is survived by four siblings, David Amaral, Calissa Hamilton, Colleen Mullins and Rick Mullins; four sisters-in-law, Cherri-Lyn, Laurie, Carol and Brenda Amaral; an aunt, RoseAnne Amaral (late Edward); a cousin, Doreen Maynard-Pianka and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Amaral, Jr. and Dennis Amaral and uncle of the late Dennis Amaral, Jr.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick, followed by interment with military honors in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Coventry. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
