Raymond R. Davide

DAVIDE, Raymond R., 75, of Grieg Court, Coventry, passed away, Monday evening, December 19, 2022, at Kent Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Maureen J. (Bessette) Davide, married for 53 years.  Born in Warwick, the son of the late Raymond J. and Mary R. (Martucci) Davide. He was a resident of West Warwick before moving to Coventry.

Mr. Davide was an educator in various elementary schools throughout the Warwick School District for thirty years until retiring in 1999.  He was an active member of the East Natick Veterans Athletic Association. Ray’s favorite pastimes included coaching his son’s youth sports team’s years ago, spending time with his family, and being “Grandpa” to his most cherished gift, Makena Rae.

Besides his wife he leaves a son, Jeffrey J. Davide and his wife Kristy of Warwick, a beloved granddaughter, Makena Rae Davide, and a future grandson arriving in 8 weeks. 

Visitation will be held Friday, December 23, 2022 from 8:45-10:15 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick.  Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1111 Cromwell Ave., Suite 302C, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 in his memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
