Ramona G. Silva

Ramona G. Silva, 93, of Coventry, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, October 19, 2024 at Alpine Nursing Home, Coventry.

She was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Quintin Garcia Alvares and Eugenia S. (Cerano) Alvares.

Ramona’s gentleness was felt everywhere, her voice was heard from the Church choir every week praising Jesus.

She was a beautiful, strong and hardworking, God loving woman.

She would light up the room with her charm and her beautiful voice, singing everywhere, leaving smiles and laughter wherever she went.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Isabella, Arianna, Michael, Felipe, Noemi, Stacia, Jon Jon and Joshua and her sisters, Angelita, Lucy and Isabel. She was the mother of the late Peter, Raymond and Carlos.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday morning 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
