Rachel L. (Richard) Brouillette

BROUILLETTE, Rachel L. (Richard), 89, of West Warwick, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Rene Brouillette for nearly seventy-three years. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Loretta (Brabant) Richard.

Rachel was a longtime resident of West Warwick and a faithful parishioner of SS. John and James Church, for many years. She worked as a dental hygienist for the U.S. Navy Seabees prior to retiring in 1978. Rachel enjoyed knitting, planting in her yard and tending to her flowers. Above all, she mostly cherished the time she spent with her family.

Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Ronald Brouillette and his companion, Jo-ann, of Coventry; two siblings, Henri Richard and Mariette Lavoie, both of Central Falls; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Richard and Michael Brouillette and Janet Perry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in SS. John and James Church, Washington St., West Warwick.
