Peter A. Pankowicz

Pankowicz, Peter A., 65, formerly of Blackrock Road, Coventry passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at Kent Hospital.

Born in Warwick, a son of the late Walter and Olga F. (Kawa) Pankowicz.  He was a lifelong resident of Coventry.

Peter was an emergency department technician with Kent Hospital for thirty years until retiring in 2016.  He enjoyed working in his yard, spending time with family and friends, and good music and food.

He is survived by a sister, Paula J. DeFalco and her husband Stephen; three nieces, Christine Radick, Joyce Pankowicz-Slovenz, Janelle Pankowicz, and a nephew, Lee Radick.  He was the brother of the late Thomas W. Pankowicz and Stanley Pankowicz.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence St. West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington Street, Coventry.  Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
