Peter D. Hogan

Peter D. Hogan, 69, of Cranston, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of the late Edward T. Hogan, Esq. and Mary (Chatterton) Hogan. Peter was raised in the Rumford section of East Providence and later resided in North Providence for many years before making his home in Cranston.

Peter's greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his family, especially his cherished grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable pride and happiness. He was an avid reader who enjoyed a good book, loved the game of golf, appreciated all types of music, and was a devoted fan of the Rolling Stones. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his quiet strength, and the special bond he shared with those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving sons, Andrew P. Hogan, Esq. and his wife, Erica and Brad Ciano, DPM and his wife, Laura; his beloved grandchildren, Allison, Benjamin, Addison, and Liliana; his former wife, Elissa Hogan; his five siblings, Edward T. "Ned" Hogan and his wife, Cathi, Laurence J. Hogan and his wife, Ann, Michael E. Hogan and his wife, Susan, Mark W. Hogan and his wife, Nancy, and Catherine T. Alessi and her husband, Nicholas. He also leaves many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peter's memory to St. Edward Food & Wellness Center, 1001 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI 02904, would be deeply appreciated.
