Pauline R. (DiChristofaro) Calci, 82, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, December 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Riverview Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Coventry.
She was the beloved wife of Charles L. Calci, with whom she shared 44 devoted years of marriage, celebrating their anniversary just two months ago. Born in West Warwick, Pauline was the daughter of the late Jerry and Lucia (Pelleccione) DiChristofaro and was a lifelong resident of the community she dearly loved.
Pauline dedicated forty years of service to Citizens Bank in West Warwick, where she held various positions before retiring in 2002 as Assistant Branch Manager. Known for her strong work ethic and warm presence, she was respected by colleagues and customers alike.
A woman of many talents, Pauline had a passion for travel—especially cruises—and greatly enjoyed shopping. She was gifted in the arts, with particular skill in crafts, sewing, monogramming, and embroidery. Turning her creativity into a successful venture, she was the proud proprietor of PC Monograms for many years.
Though she had no children of her own, Pauline’s heart was boundless. She was like a second mother to her nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews, offering unwavering love, guidance, and support throughout their lives.
In addition to her husband, Charles, she leaves her stepdaughter, Karen Simonson (John); her siblings, Antimo P. DiChristofaro (late wife Virginia), Geraldine M. Barber (Gregory), and Judy A. Ouellette (Russell); two grandchildren, Eric Carr (Katherine) and Alyssa Girten (Mark); three cherished great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Anna E. Wells.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick. Interment will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick, RI 02893, in Pauline’s memory.
