ROCH, Paul D., 92, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2022 in Coventry at the home of his daughter, Jeannine.
He was born on January 19, 1930 in West Warwick to the late Ludovic and Martha (Levesque) Roch. He married the love of his life Frances (Begos) Roch on October 10, 1953 and they shared sixty-seven years of marriage, until her passing on May 7, 2021.
Paul proudly served his country in the Army as an interpreter. A third generation tailor, he owned and operated Roch Cleaners and Tailors from 1962 until he retired in 1996. Paul enjoyed boating and fishing on Johnson’s Pond in the summer, Skeet shooting at Narragansett Gun Club and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Paul was a lifetime member of Club Frontenac, West Warwick American Legion Post 2, Crompton Veterans Organization and Narragansett Gun Club. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Paula Antonetti and her husband Frank and Jeannine St. Jean and her husband Ronald; four grandchildren, Vanessa Antonetti, Danielle Antonetti, Stephanie St. Jean, Matthew St. Jean and his wife Ashley and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Roger Roch and Lorraine (Roch) Lusignean.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington Street, Coventry.
