Paul E. Pelletier, 92, formerly of Coventry, peacefully passed away on the morning of Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Cra-Mar Meadows in Hope.
Paul was the beloved husband of the late Constance D. “Connie” (Parenteau) Pelletier, and they shared 63 cherished years of marriage before her passing in 2023. Born in West Warwick to the late Paul E. and Irene (Barrette) Pelletier, Paul resided in Coventry for sixty years.
Paul dedicated thirty-five years as a type setter with The Providence Journal until his retirement. He was a proud Navy veteran of the Korean War, served with the National Guard, a devoted communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church where he was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and volunteered with the West Warwick Assistance Agency-Food Distribution Center. His greatest joys in life included spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, cheering for the New England Sports teams, golfing and traveling with his loving wife.
He leaves behind three daughters: Celeste Tordoff and her husband Jim of Coventry, Paula Donahue of Coventry, and Denise Tamburro and her husband Steven of Cranston. Paul was a cherished grandfather to six grandchildren: Ashley Sherman, Brandon Tordoff, Amanda Donahue, Sean Donahue, Steven Tamburro, and Lauren Beausoleil; and a great-grandfather to Adaline Sherman. He was also the brother of the late Louise P. Wilcox.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick. This will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry.
