Nancy A. (Hopkins) Quental

QUENTAL, Nancy A., (Hopkins), 87, of North Providence, formerly of Sparrows Point II, Warwick, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Scituate, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Julia (Segee) Hopkins.  She resided in Warwick for many years until moving to North Providence a year ago.

Nancy was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Briarcliff Nursing Home for many years before retiring.  She was an easy going women and loved by everyone. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, shopping, animals, and traveling.

She is survived by two children, Judy A. O’Brien and Joseph R. Heeks; seven grandchildren, Ralph Reisner, Corey Reisner, Bradley Spencer, Leeann Spencer, Joseph Heeks, Kayla Heeks and Nichole Heeks; several great grandchildren and two sibling, Barbara Juliano and Bertha Brown.  She was the beloved mother of the late Blanche Spencer, grandmother of the late Robert Reisner III, loving fiancée of the late Ronald Salzillo and sister of the late Arnold Hopkins, Gladys Loomis, Mary Gordon and Blanche Collins.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral arrangements would be greatly appreciated.
