Nancy C. Fontaine

Nancy C. Fontaine, 77, of West Warwick, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.

Born in West Warwick, RI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Claire (Joyal) Fontaine. Nancy had a gentle spirit and generous heart, shown not only by the love she shared with her family but also in her deep affection for animals. She cared for them with the same kindness she offered everyone in her life.

She will be remembered by many for hosting Sunday dinners (with family card games afterwards), poolside cookouts, her famous French meat pies and "twookies". You would always find the baseball game on at her house where all were welcome.

She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings: Judith A. Santilli (John) of Warwick, Elaine M. Moone (Daniel) of North Kingstown, and Robert J. Fontaine (Chris) of Greene, along with her seven nieces and nephews, thirteen grand nieces and nephews, and nine great nieces and nephews.

She will be laid to rest alongside her Parents in Notre Dame Cemetery. Per her request, calling hours are respectfully omitted.
