Michael Stanley Jusczyk

Michael S. Jusczyk, 70, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, December 8, 2023.

Born in Warwick, a son of the late Michael and Elsie O. (Francis) Jusczyk.  He was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area.

Michael graduated from West Warwick High School 1971.  Attended the University of Massachusetts from 1971-1973. Golf Course Superintendent at Indian Meadow Country Club until 1975. Superintendent at Wachusett Country Club in 1976. Worked at Electric Boat in 1976 in various capacities. Graduated Johnson and Wales in 1989 with an A.S. in Business Management. Graduated Johnson and Wales in 1990 with B.S.in Business Management (Summa Cum Laude 3.97 GPA). Started Master’s Program 1991 Inducted to National Honor Society 1991.

Michael enjoyed golfing, time at the beach and relaxing in the sun, riding his horse and gardening. He had a profound sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. The knowledge and wisdom he passed on are instrumental and he will be truly missed.

Michael is survived by his children, beloved daughter Shannon King (Jusczyk) and her husband John. Daughter Kaleigh Jusczyk. Two grandchildren who loved him dearly Zachary and Sophia King of Florida. Michael was the father of the late, Michael A. Jusczyk.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. followed by a funeral home service at 6:00 p.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick.
