Michael G. Mathews

Michael G. Mathews, 17, of Central Pike, Foster, passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Thursday, July, 7, 2022.

Born in Warwick, he was the beloved son of Michael K. Mathews and Linda L. (Ashworth) Burchett-Mathews of Foster.

Michael had just finished junior year at Ponaganset High School in North Scituate. Michael’s passion was people. He loved his family, friends and bringing people together. Michael’s outgoing personality, contagious smile, and infectious laugh made him a friend to everyone. Whatever Michael did, he did it with a full heart.

Besides his parents he leaves a sister, Jodi-Lynn Charboneau and a brother, Justin L. Burchett.  He was the maternal grandson of Howard Ashworth of Warwick.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 4:30 PM at Hope Church, 1114 Scituate Avenue, Cranston, followed by a funeral reception in the Church.
