FERNANDES, Michael N., 54, of West Warwick, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Kent Hospital.
Born in Warwick, beloved son of Joyce M. (King) Walason of Narragansett and Norman M. Fernandes and his wife Roberta “Buffy” of West Warwick.
Michael was a chef for many years with various restaurants in Rhode Island including Iggy’s in Narragansett and the Olde Theater Diner in Coventry. He was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan and a member of Club Frontenac.
Besides his parents he leaves two siblings, Robin M. Donnelly and her husband Michael of Warwick and Jason R. Fernandes and his wife Heather of West Warwick and four nieces and nephews, Megan and Ryan Donnelly and Logan and Carly Fernandes.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick. (FACE MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED). Interment will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Coventry. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
