Michael T. Cayouette

CAYOUETTE, Michael T., 69, of West Warwick, passed away Saturday evening, March 13, 2021 surrounded by his loving family at his family home in West Warwick after a valiant 3 ½ year effort against pancreatic cancer.

Born in Warwick, a son of the late Louis H. and Clara A. (Gutowski) Cayouette.  He was a lifelong resident of West Warwick.

Michael loved all things Ford, RV and camping.  He was a mentor to family and friends who shared his passion.  He made friends wherever he camped and readily shared his extensive knowledge.  Michael most recently worked at TASCA Ford in Cranston.  His worked history varied, from working at Trifari Jewelry Company and the airport to Carnival Cruise Lines.  He will be missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his loving sister, Jane E. Streeter and her husband Mark and brother, Steven L. Cayouette and his wife Diane and several nieces and nephews, William Fitts, Stephanie Wilson, Kerry Beverly, Jason Petty and Sara Cayouette and their families.  He was the brother of the late Karen L. Petty and her husband Joe.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 pm in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence St., West Warwick (All State Covid-19 guidelines will be observed).  Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.Pancan.org) 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266  in his memory would be appreciated.
