Maria I. (Correia) Faria

FARIA, Maria I. (Correia), 87, of Seth Drive, West Warwick, passed way surrounded by her loving family on Monday afternoon, December 6, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Jose I. Faria.  Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Teixeira) Correia.

Mrs. Faria was an inspector/packer with Leviton Manufacturing in Warwick for twenty-five years until retiring in 1999.  She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking and singing.

She is survived by her three sons, Joseph F. Faria and his wife Sherri Lynn, Donald A. Faria and Dominic C. Faria all of West Warwick; two grandsons, Joshua and Michael Faria and two brothers, Antonio Correia and John Correia both in Canada.  She was the sister of the late Jose Correia.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick.  Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Anthony Church, 10 Sunset Avenue, West Warwick, RI 20893 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
