Maria H. (Dias) DaSilva

Maria H. (Dias) DaSilva, 82, of Mello Street, West Warwick, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Thursday evening, September 19, 2024 at home.

She was the beloved wife of Mario M. DaSilva, they had been married for fifty-six years.  Born in Faial, Azores, a daughter of the late Antonio and Rosa (Goulart) Dias.  She was a resident of West Warwick for many years.

Mrs. DaSilva was a communicant of St. Anthony Church and a member of the Rosary and Altar Sodality.

Besides her husband, she leaves her two children and their spouses, Nelia Grenier and her husband Richard of West Warwick and Nelson DaSilva and his wife Rachel of West Warwick; two sisters, Olga Oliveira and Rosa Shihadeh and four grandsons, Richard Grenier, Jr. and his wife Caitlin, Matthew Grenier, Adam DaSilva and Kyle DaSilva.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick.  Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick.
