Madeleine C. (Roy) Brantley

BRANTLEY, Madeleine C. (Roy), 95, formerly of West Warwick, passed away, Thursday morning, August 3, 2023 at Briarcliffe Manor Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, Johnston.

She was the beloved wife of the late George M. Brantley, who passed away in 2003.  Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Hervey and Rose (Tetreault) Roy.

Mrs. Brantley was a communicant of Christ the King Church where she was very active in many of the parish activities. She loved spending time with her family, traveling with her husband and lived a life of family and faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer B. Motta and her husband Stephen of North Oaks, MN and Pamela B. Miller and her husband David of South Chatham, MA and three grandchildren, Addison, Alex and Emily Motta.  She was the sister of the late Lucille M. Joyal and Gerard Roy.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, SEPTEMBER 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick.  Interment will be private.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Continuum Hospice Care of RI, 1350 Division Road, Suite 205, West Warwick, RI 02893 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
