Lucille J. (Berard) Lacombe

Lucille J. (Berard) Lacombe, 96, formerly of Coventry and West Warwick, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, June 16, 2024 at Cra-Mar Meadows Nursing Center in Cranston.

She was the beloved wife of the late Gaston A. Lacombe, who passed away in 1982.  Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Louis and Florida (Boudreau) Berard.  She was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area.

Mrs. Lacombe was employed at Kent Hospital for many years until retiring.  She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends.  Other enjoyments included traveling and bowling but most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three children, Brian G. Lacombe and his wife Dolleen of West Greenwich, Richard M. “Rick” Lacombe and his wife Diane of West Warwick and Michelle Bates of Coventry, ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a brother, Ronald Berard.  She was the mother of the late David L. Lacombe and sister of the late Rita Yates and Roland Berard.
