Louise E. (Bates) Curtis

Louise E. (Bates) Curtis, 80, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, September 15, 2025, at Kent Hospital.

Born in Cranston, Louise was the beloved daughter of the late Ira J. and Mary (Breard) Bates. Throughout her life, she found joy in the simple and meaningful moments—spending time with her family, piecing together puzzles, and enjoying quiet hours watching television. Her gentle presence and warm heart were a comfort to all who knew her.

Louise was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three children: Harold Curtis, James Robillard, and Pamela Mefford. Her legacy continues through her eleven cherished grandchildren and eight adored great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two of her children, Francis Robillard and Teena Curtis, whose memories she held close to her heart.

Those who knew Louise will remember her kindness, her quiet strength, and the deep love she held for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience and compassion that will continue to live on in those who loved her.
