Lorraine Bacon

Lorraine Bacon, 96, of Coventry, formerly of Gardiner, Massachusetts, passed away Wednesday evening, October 18, 2023 at Riverview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Henry and Eva (Monty) Bacon.

Lorraine was an educator in the Gardiner (Massachusetts) School District for many years until retiring.  She was an avid golfer.

She is survived by two brothers, Gerard D. “GiGi” Bacon of Naples, Florida and Henry Bacon and his wife Rita of West Warwick and many nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Rita Russo, Normand, Donald and Conrad Bacon.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Pleasant Street, West Warwick.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Notre Dame, West Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 62 Pleasant Street, West Warwick, RI 02893 in her memory would be appreciated.
