Loretta (Pare) Pimental

PIMENTAL, Loretta (Pare), 92, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, June 24, 2021 at Riverview Healthcare Community, Coventry.

She was the beloved wife of the late August R. “Gus” Pimental, they had been married for 66 years at his passing in 2018.  Born in Coventry, she was a daughter of the late George H. and Alexandra (Marcoullier) Pare.

Mrs. Pimental was a communicant of St. Anthony Church, where she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Holy Rosary Sodality.  She loved playing cards.

She leaves two daughters, Carol Dessert (Dennis) of Coventry and Linda Lauzon (Jack) of West Warwick; two sons, David Pimental, WWFD (Ret.) (Maria) of West Warwick and Wayne Pimental (Lisa) of Narragansett; two siblings, Rita Dixon and Phillip Pare; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Peter, Lionel, Gerard, Norman, Arthur, Edward Pare, Irene Lafond, and Jeannette Motta.  

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 9:45 am from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence St., West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick.  Interment will be private.  Visiting hours Monday 4:00-7:00 pm   In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Anthony Church, 10 Sunset Ave., West Warwick, RI 02893 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolence please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
