Lisa Silva Obituary

Lisa M. (Bello) Silva, 58, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, June 6, 2025, at Sunny View Nursing Home in Warwick, surrounded by the love and comfort of her devoted family.

Lisa was the beloved and devoted wife of Scott R. Silva, with whom she shared thirty-three loving years of marriage. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Philomena (Corrado) Bello. A proud lifelong resident of West Warwick, Lisa embodied the spirit of her community through her warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.

A graduate of West Warwick High School, a woman of deep compassion and quiet strength, Lisa lived a life rich in love and simple joys. She found happiness in the everyday moments. Lisa’s greatest accomplishment was motherhood, rooted in endless love and dedication to her daughter and family. She loved watching the Patriots, Bruins and golf with her husband.  Lisa was also a great event planner and never missed a detail. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, decorating, a good rainy day, and always being late to go somewhere. Lisa made friends everywhere she went and was known for easy conversation.  While her health challenged her, at times, she faced every new day with a positive attitude. A past member of the Holy Ghost Society in West Warwick, she and her husband hosted many crowns and celebrated the Labor Day Festa, faithfully.

Besides her husband, she leaves her cherished daughter, Brieona A. Quaranto and her husband Jon of Warwick and her two beloved grandsons, Anthony Vincent and Angelo Nicanor who were the light of her life and gave her the greatest strength.

She is also survived by her loving siblings; her dearest brother Paul V. Bello of West Warwick, her sister and best friend Frances Ann Dimuccio of Cranston, brothers Gary Bello of West Warwick and Steven Bello and his wife Debbie of Exeter. Lisa was predeceased by her sister Sandra A. Lincoln and brother Joseph A. Bello. She was a loving Aunt to Paul, Melissa, Alison, Abigail, Sean, Brendan, Crystal and Casandra.

A special person who was always by Lisa’s side, her godmother Virginia DiMasi of West Warwick. Her dearest friends, Robert and Theresa Pacheco.

Her family extends their gratitude to the West Warwick Fire Department for their endless care and compassion they always provided and to Sunny View Nursing Home who made Lisa’s final days the most memorable for her and her family.
