Lillian A. (Diamonte) Forleo

FORLEO, Lillian A., (Diamonte), 91, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully Tuesday January 5, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank S. Forleo.  Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Silva) Diamonte.  She was a lifelong resident of West Warwick.

Lillian was a lace threader in the textile industry before retiring to care for her family.  She was a communicant of SS. Peter & Paul Church.  Lillian’s life was filled with love and compassion but above all else, Lillian loved her family. 

She is survived by her loving children, Mary J. Chamberland and her husband Maurice of Smithfield and Steven F. Forleo and his wife Pamela of West Warwick; a sister, Mary Imbriglio of West Warwick and two brothers, Edward Diamonte of West Warwick and Manuel Diamonte of Cranston.  She was the sister of the late Esther Lima, Louis and William Diamonte.

Due to difficulties created by the pandemic, there will be no calling hours and her interment will be private.  There will be a celebration of Lillian’s life when it is safe to do so.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lillian’s memory can be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
