Leona 'Lee' J. (Gadoury) Lantagne

Leona J. ‘Lee’ (Gadoury) Lantagne, 94, formerly of West Warwick and Warwick, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday morning, October 8, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease at Riverview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

She was the beloved wife of the late Andre O. Lantagne, they were married for seventy-two years before his passing in 2018.  Born in Clark Mills, New York, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Anna (Sawyer) Gadoury. 

Mrs. Lantagne worked for twenty-seven years at Kent County Water Authority before retiring in 1992. She enjoyed camping, traveling, crafts, knitting and most importantly spending time with her family.  

She is survived by her loving son and primary caregiver, Kenneth N. Lantagne (Diane) of Warwick; two siblings, Jean Forleo of Coventry and Richard Gadoury of Chambersburg, PA; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  She was the beloved mother of the late Eileen A. Kirkpatrick and sister of the late Eileen Gadoury.
