Laurianne H. (Beaudreau) Parenty

Laurianne H. “Babe” (Beaudreau) Parenty, 89, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, April 28, 2026, at Bay View Rehabilitation at Scalabrini, surrounded by the comfort of compassionate care.

She was the beloved wife of the late George H. Parenty, who passed away in 2003. Born in West Warwick, she was the cherished daughter of the late Ovila and Albina (Duperon) Beaudreau. Laurianne spent most of her life in the Pawtuxet Valley, where she built a home centered on faith, family, and community.

A devoted communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Laurianne lived her faith through quiet kindness and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She found her greatest joy in the presence of her family, treasuring time spent together. She also enjoyed playing bingo, camping with family and day trips to Foxwood and, in her earlier years, was actively involved as a den mother and Cub Scout leader, creating lasting memories with her children and their friends.

She is survived by her loving children, Rebecca A. “Becky” Bond and her husband Richard Jr., Shirley A. Ouellette, Kenneth G. Parenty and his wife Terry and Eric G. Parenty and her daughter-in-law, Christine A. Parenty. She was the proud grandmother of Jennifer Rogers, Jennifer Rose Parfitt, Colleen Fontaine, Michael G. Parenty, Jr., Richard Bond, III, Heather Parenty, and Jessica Parenty, and the cherished great-grandmother of Richard Rogers, Jr., Jordan Smith, Mason Parenty, Blake Parenty, Richard Bond, IV, Trent Canton, Arya Bond, Jayce Parenty and Niko Parfitt.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, Michael G. Parenty, Sr.; her dear grandson, Zachary Parenty; and her siblings, Gloria Pierce, William Beaudreau, Wilfred Beaudreau, and Vivian Brouillard.

Her funeral will be held Monday, May 4, 2026 at 9:00 AM from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry. Interment will be private.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 2:00–5:00 PM.
