HOLDEN, Kevin B., 64, of Burton Street, Cranston, passed away Wednesday evening, October 24, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
He was the beloved husband of Martha E. (Borys) Holden, they had been married for 44 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Thomas A. and Louise M. (Whittaker) Holden. He resided in Cranston since 1995.
Kevin was the proprietor of Kevin Holden, Inc., an industrial finishing company for over forty years. He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion, Post 102, an avid sports fan but most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching their sporting events.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Laurie A. Holden-Swanson of West Warwick; four siblings, Donna Pirtle of Attleboro, MA, Lynn O’Donnell of Pascoag, Ronald Holden of Seekonk, MA and Wayne Holden of Attleboro, MA; three grandchildren, McKenzi, Karl and Anthony and thirty nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10:00 am from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick. Interment with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Sunday 4:00-7:00 pm.
