Kathleen (Wright) Thibedau

Kathleen (Wright) Thibedau, 64, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her devoted family, on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Born in Cranston, Kathleen was the cherished daughter of the late Antonio Raimondo and Cathrine E. (Curry) Wright and her husband George H. Wright. She spent most of her life in Coventry and West Warwick before settling in Pawtucket. Kathleen was the wife of Gregory A. Thibedau, Sr.

Known for her boundless compassion, Kathleen was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. She had a special love for her dog, “Sugar Baby”, and a deep appreciation for Country Music. Kathleen was a proud and active member of the LGBTQ Community, frequently attending Pride events. Affectionately nicknamed "Devil head" by her teachers during her youth, she was a spirited and lively individual.

Kathleen's memory will be forever cherished by her loving family, including her three children, Gregory A. Thibedau, Jr., Regina Thibedau, and Tony Thibedau; and her five step-children, Kaylor Bulpitt, Kristen Bulpitt, Jessica Bulpitt, Jennifer Bulpitt, and Paul Bulpitt. She is also survived by her brother, Ernest G. Wright of West Warwick; her six sisters, Pearl A. Strembicki of Coventry, Judy E. Demers of Coventry, Joan Correia of Coventry, Mary Ann Youssef of Coventry, and Jacqueline Walker of Maine; as well as seventeen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was predeceased by her siblings George H. Wright, Charles W. Wright, John Wright, Robert E. Wright, James Wright, Nancy Leavitt, and June Jacques.

In accordance with Kathleen's wishes, her funeral services will be private, and visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Continuum Hospice & Palliative Care, 1350 Division Road, Suite 205, West Warwick, RI 02893.
